Starting

  1. . Open in Photoshop
  2. . Isolate, cut, and paste into new image
  3. . Fix up levels (when we have colour card, do this before isolating)
  4. . Save psd "000x.psd"
  5. . Paste it into Illustrator
  6. . Back in Photoshop, set background black
  7. . Save to web, jpg quality 70, max 800px

Outline

  1. . Set Photoshop levels Output all to the left (black image)
  2. . past silhouette into illustrator
  3. . use imagetrace with silhouette
  4. . set stroke 1pt
  5. . copy in place (shift command V)
  6. . Object -> Path -> Path offset 15pt
  7. . Object -> Path -> Simplify, if needed
  8. . Make it dashed
